My Background
Outstanding Training
I grew up in Hudson, WI, and attended undergraduate and medical school at the University of Wisconsin. Then, I completed a 5 year residency program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
After residency, I did an additional year of subspecialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. I was fortunate to be trained in aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery, including trauma, arthroscopy, reconstruction, and replacement.
I then worked for 3 years at The Ohio State University Medical Center in the Division of Sports Medicine. There, I cared for the spectrum of shoulder and elbow issues: from Tommy John ligament reconstructions to shoulder replacements.
I joined the Mayo Clinic in September of 2017. I have a special interest in shoulder and elbow trauma, in addition to the treating the full spectrum of shoulder and elbow issues.
